Products we wanted to exist

Software products developed by our studio.

We create the products we want to see in the world. Each one began with a problem we understood firsthand, then grew through product thinking, design, and engineering into software people can use.

AI companions for Obsidian

A second mind that respects the first one.

Sidian Sidekicks brings AI agents into an existing Obsidian practice without turning that practice into another chat interface. People keep writing in the notes, journals, plans, and project files they already trust. The agents read that context and place their work in separate Review and Research folders, leaving the original writing intact.

Each agent has a clear role. Clara looks for patterns, recurring themes, and useful questions across a person’s writing. Nova expands ideas through research and brainstorming. An inbox file supports direct requests, while a daily email digest brings the most useful observations forward without asking the user to monitor another app.

The product decision

The important product decision is separation: human writing remains human writing, and generated material stays visible but distinct. That boundary makes the system easier to trust, review, and ignore when quiet thinking matters more than assistance.

A calmer way to act

A task system that helps you choose, not just capture.

ActionAmp is an attention engine for people whose task lists have become another source of pressure. It captures incoming work, helps sort it into tasks, projects, and reference material, then brings one useful next action forward. The rest of the system remains close, but it does not compete for attention on the working screen.

The product follows a compact loop: capture quickly, triage deliberately, then focus. Its recommendation considers the task’s priority, timing, and size, and explains why that task is being shown. It is compatible with familiar ideas from GTD and PARA, but the interface does not require people to study a productivity method before they can begin.

The product decision

The product is built around a strong constraint: opening the app should reduce a decision, not present another dashboard to manage. That turns a large plan into one concrete move while keeping the underlying commitments accounted for and available when needed.

Product direction before delivery

Turn early product thinking into build-ready direction.

Workomator gives founders and small product teams a place to work on requirements before pretending those requirements are settled. Half-formed thoughts, tensions, customer signals, and open questions can be captured without labels. When an idea is ready, it can become a decision, task, or product specification with the reasoning still attached.

The workspace separates two modes that often get mixed together. Explore protects unfinished thinking and keeps capture friction low. Decide adds shape, ownership, and a Now / Next / Later horizon. Shared projects then hold the product narrative, roadmap, features, and specifications that a team needs to stay aligned.

The product decision

Its key idea is that coding tools work better when product intent is explicit. Workomator connects approved direction to delivery systems and AI coding agents, then brings implementation progress back to the product record. The result is a clearer path from “we noticed something” to “this is ready to build.”

MindUpload

Practice what matters next.

Adaptive SAT & ACT preparation

Test preparation organized around what a student needs next.

MindUpload is a multi-user SAT and ACT preparation platform for students and parents. Instead of dropping students into an undifferentiated question bank, it helps them choose an exam path, build a focused learning library, practice specific skills, and understand where their preparation needs attention.

The product is organized around four connected areas: Catalog, Library, Practice Room, and Profile. Students can move from choosing SAT or ACT coverage into targeted practice and progress review without losing the context of what they are preparing for. Parent access is designed around useful progress visibility while keeping student ownership and permissions explicit.

The product decision

MindUpload treats content readiness as part of the software, not an afterthought. Questions and explanations move through review before release, attempts remain reliable records of learning, and incomplete skill areas stay clearly unavailable. That makes the platform honest about what is ready while creating a foundation for richer practice and mistake repair later.

The common thread

Build the products we wish already existed.

We start with friction we have seen or felt ourselves: knowledge without reflection, task lists without focus, product ideas without clear direction, and test preparation without a useful path forward. Then we bring product thinking and engineering together to make a practical alternative real.
